ABOUT US?
Heathers Houses Inc. is a non-profit organization that raises and distributes funds to assist with home purchases within the state. The goal of our Foundation is to promote housing and homeownership. In partnership with other groups, the Foundation addresses local housing opportunities, believing homeownership should be available for all. We also provide our members with the tools and resources they need for homeownership to succeed.

What is Attainable Housing?
Most people desire to own homes in the community where they live and work. For some, this can be challenging, especially financially. Our Foundation’s goal is to assist in fulfilling the dream of homeownership, as we believe homeownership should be available for all. Homeownership is an essential part of a thriving community and positively contributes to economic growth.
We work to make important connections within our community and local businesses. Through private and corporate donations, our Foundation is empowered to assist financially challenged homebuyers. Residents that are approved for a grant are provided up to $2,500 which is used to assist with closing costs and related expenses for homeownership.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants must:
1. Have a bilateral contract for the purchase of a primary residence.
2. Be employed or show verifiable income.
3. Have a certain qualifying income level as defined by Housing and Urban Development.
Easy Application Process
Applicants must inform their Lender and Realtor of interest in the Attainable Housing Program.
• Visit our Website www.HeathersHouses.org and fill out the application form.
• Complete application with all the necessary supporting documents and submit.
• Applications with incomplete details will not be entertained.
What’s Next?
• Your application will be reviewed by our Foundation’s staff
• Eligible applications submitted to Foundation’s Board of Directors for final approval
• Applicants will be notified of Foundation’s decision
• Awardee will receive funds typically during the closing and are dispersed to the closing agent to be applied on behalf of the buyer
• Grants are NOT given directly to the grantee.
